Agnes Horton
August 19, 1911 — March 29, 2008
Agnes McCormick Horton, 96, of Petersburg, died Saturday, March 29 at St. Luke West Hospital in Florence.
She was a homemaker and member of Petersburg Baptist Church. In 2006, she was commissioned a "Kentucky Colonel" by the governor of Kentucky on her 95th birthday.
She is survived by her daughters, Sue Setters of Petersburg and Helen Horton of Wilder; daughter-in-law, Barbara Horton of Petersburg; and grandchildren, Linda Dorsey, Debra Civils, and James Horton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Horton; daughter, Betty Louden; son, Scott Horton; and parents, Jessie Breckenridge and Ella Brock McCormick.
Memorials are suggested to the Petersburg Baptist Church, 6537 Market Street, Petersburg KY 41080.
