Alvan L. Waterman, 85, of Covington, died Sunday, February 15, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare, Edgewood. He was a retired Book Binder with Young’s Book Bindery.
Born October 3, 1929 in Lewiston, Maine to the late Alvan, Sr. and Hazel Haley Waterman, Alvan was a United States Air Force Veteran and a member of Morgan’s Raiders, a Civil War Reenactment Group.
Survivors include his wife, LaVerne M. Egbring Waterman; daughter, Carol L. Waterman-Price, Covington; grandchildren, Joshua (Kathryn) Price, Waverly, Nebraska, Cody (Kate) Waterman, Covington, and Nathan Price, Waverly, Nebraska; great-grandchildren, Olivia Price, Waverly, Nebraska, Ephraim Price, Waverly, Nebraska, and Cole Waterman, Covington; nephew, Jerry Egbring, Florence; and niece, Judy Ross, Latonia.
He was preceded in death by his son, Kenneth R Waterman; and brother, CB Waterman.
