Antonio Mar de Castro

Antonio Mar de Castro, 86, of Crestview Hills, Kentucky passed away Thursday, February 26, 2026, at Hospice of St. Elizabeth, Edgewood, Kentucky. 

Antonio was born on January 7, 1940, in Manila, Philippines to the late Eugenio and Trinidad (Mar) de Castro. He was a retired Medical Technologist for Good Samaritan Hospital, Cincinnati, Ohio and had previously worked at Christ Hospital, Cincinnati. 

He was a member of St. Agnes Church, Fort Wright, Kentucky and he enjoyed working on cars in his spare time.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Milagros Enriquez de Castro in 1994; his parents, Eugenio and Trinidad de Castro; a son, Michael de Castro in 1974; brother, Eduardo de Castro; his first wife’s brother and sister-in-law, Jose and Jessica Enriquez; and two brothers in law, Jose Abalos and Howard Redmon. 

Survivors include his wife, Rosa Gutierrez de Castro; daughters, Maria Victoria Angelica “Vicky” de Castro, Jennifer Aileen de Castro and Heidi Lynne de Castro; sisters, Jane Abalos and Conchita Redmon; a granddaughter, Mila Rose de Castro; and many nieces and nephews and their families. 

Visitation is 9:30 am to 11:30 am, Thursday, March 12, 2026, at St. Agnes Church, 1680 Dixie Hwy., Fort Wright, KY. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:30 am at the church. Entombment in St. Mary Cemetery Mausoleum, Fort Mitchell, KY. Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Erlanger is honored to be serving the de Castro family.
