Arthur L. “Art” Putthoff, 77, of Bromley died Monday, March 3, 2014 at Hospice of St. Elizabeth, Fort Thomas. He retired after more than 30 years of service with General Motors, Norwood.

A United States Air Force veteran of Korea, Art was a member of Colonel Clay F & AM # 109 Masonic Lodge of Covington and he enjoyed fishing and woodworking.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Arthur and Mary Josephine Schevene Putthoff.

Survivors include his wife, Bonnie S. Miller Putthoff of Bromley; daughter, Dr. Dara (Dr. Andreas) Schuster of Dublin, Ohio; son, Dennis (Jean) Putthoff of Nashville, Tennessee; step daughters, Debra (Nick) Meyers of Ludlow and Jessica (Harvey) Martin of Ludlow; step son, Nathan McDaniel of Bromley; sisters, Dot Vickers of Florence, Ruth Kennedy of Ludlow, Janice (Harry) Geimeier of Fort Wright and Rose (Robert) Moore of Elsmere; and 14 grandchildren.

Visitation is Friday, March 7, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Ludlow. Masonic services to begin at 11:45 a.m. and funeral services to immediately follow at 12:00 Noon.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Colonel Clay F & AM # 109 Masonic Lodge, 1553 Madison Avenue, Covington, KY 41014 or Wesley United Methodist Church, 319 Oak Street, Ludlow, KY 41016.
