Barbara Hammons

Barbara M. (Lafontine) Hammons, 84, of Ludlow passed away Saturday morning, May 9, 2021. Barb was a retired Nurse’s Aide and she and her husband Charlie did some commercial cleaning in their retirement.

Barb was a longtime member of First Baptist Church, Ludlow and most recently was a member of First Baptist Church, Covington.

Barb was preceded in death by her husband, Charles J. “Charlie” Hammons in 2020; son, Kelly Hammons in 1979; and daughter, Luanne Hammons in 2016.

Survivors include her grandsons, Damon Hammons and Conley Hammons; dear friend and caregiver, Atha Brockell; sister, Josey Zirk; two brothers in law, Harold (Faye) Hammons and Harry E. (Loretta) Hammons; sister in law, Martha (Clifford) Daly; and a host of nieces and nephews.

No Services are being planned. Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Ludlow is serving the family.
