Barbara Ann Durham Smoot, 80, of Lake Worth, Florida, formerly of Fort Mitchell, passed away Thursday morning, March 10, 2016 at her home.
She was a retired food service employee for the Beechwood Independent Schools, a homemaker and longtime member of Blessed Sacrament Church, Fort Mitchell.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Eugene Smoot in 2002; and her parents, Archibald and Gladys Young Durham.
Survivors include her daughter, Julie (Chip) Janson of Charlotte, North Carolina; sons, Daniel (Danielle) Smoot of London, Kentucky and Robert Smoot of Lake Worth, Florida; eight grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
No visitation is scheduled. Mass of Christian Burial is Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church, Fort Mitchell. Interment at Highland Cemetery, Fort Mitchell. Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Erlanger is serving the family.
