Bernard F. Ralenkotter, 84, of Wilder, passed away Monday, May 22, 2017 at Hospice of St. Elizabeth, Edgewood.

He was a member of Mother of God Church, Covington, a U.S. Korean Air Force veteran, a retired field service technician with Cincinnati Milacron and a member of the Newport Elks Lodge #273 in Cold Spring. His hobbies included playing golf and crossword puzzles. He enjoyed spending time with his family and loved his grandchildren, often advising them, listening to them, and helping them in times of need. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years Marjorie Ann Pieper Ralenkotter on February 27, 2017; and parents Arnold J. and Marie Ramler Ralenkotter.

Survivors include sons, Kenneth (Teresa) Ralenkotter of Edgewood and Robert Ralenkotter of Fort Mitchell; daughters, Marilyn (Paul) Greely of Crestview and Janet (Bill) Hunter of Elgin, South Carolina; eight grandchildren, Chris, Matthew, Katie, Andy, Lindsey, Kyle, Justin, and Eleanor; nine great grandchildren; and brother, Jerome Ralenkotter of Cold Spring.

Mass of Christian Burial 12:00 Noon Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Mother of God Church, Covington. Visitation begins at 11:00 a.m. at the church. Interment at St. Mary Cemetery, Fort Mitchell.
