Bessie Sutton

Bessie Farmer Sutton, 99 of Burlington, passed away Friday October 4, 2019 at Madonna Manor in Villa Hills.

Bessie was a homemaker and a farmer and enjoyed gardening. She was a member of Woodhaven Baptist Church in Burlington.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Lorath Sutton; parents, James and Rosa Shoaf Farmer; sisters, Dona Holt and Irene Owens; and brothers, Laymon Farmer, Arnold Farmer and Glen Farmer.

Survivors include sister, Ella Mae Kincaid of Hebron, several nieces and nephews; and her special caretaker, Gary Watkins of Burlington.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at 12:00 Noon at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Hebron. Visitation begins at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment at Bullittsburg Cemetery, Petersburg.

Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor’s choice.
