Betty Holladay

Betty Lou Setters Holladay, 85, of Burlington, died surrounded by her loving family, at her home, Friday, January 16, 2015.

Betty was born in Boone County on December 11, 1929 to the late Benjamin D. and Gladys Bradley Setters. She lived her entire life in Boone County.

She was a homemaker and long time member of Hebron Baptist Church, where she was active in the Seniors Club and Sunday School. She was a very accomplished seamstress, loved gardening and a big 4-H club booster for her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include sons, Dale (Joan) Holladay of Burlington, John (Dorene) Holladay of Dry Ridge, daughters, Phyllis (John) Anderson of Petersburg, Cathy (Steve) Hankins of Burlington, grandchildren, Jolene, Aaron, Julie, Wes, Kristin, Nathan, Jeremy, Laura, Jason and Jennifer and 14 great grandchildren (with two expected soon).

Her husband, John C. Holladay, brother, Bud Setters and sister, Eva Mae Smith preceded her in death.
