Brittany Leigh Holtzman, 22, of Independence, died Sunday, October 18, along with her companion, Sam "Justin" Roberts, due to injuries sustained in an auto accident on I-275W in Hebron. She was a waitress at Hooter's Restaurant in Florence.
Brittany was a graduate of the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in Cincinnati. While attending CCMS, she was a resident employee of Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home.
Survivors include her mother, Cynthia Anne Glunt Holtzman of Elyria, Ohio; her father Jeffrey Charles Holtzman, and his partner, Brandon Fraley, of Tucson, Arizona; brother, Tyler Holtzman of Elyria; maternal grandmother, Phyllis Glunt of Elyria; paternal grandparents, Charles and Bonnie Holtzman of Grafton, Ohio; uncle, Tom Glunt of Avon Lake, Ohio; aunts, Debbie (Phillip) Jones of Elyria and Shelly (Dave) Spieth of Elyria; and cousins.
