Charles "Charlie" Day

Charles F. “Charlie” Day, 94, of Hebron, Kentucky passed away Friday, April 10, 2026, at Hospice of St. Elizabeth, Edgewood. 

Charlie was born on July 25, 1931, in Taylorsport, Kentucky to the late John and Myla (Idler) Day. A graduate of the former Hebron High School, he served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Charlie was a tool and die maker by trade and he retired from General Electric, Evendale, Ohio. He was a longtime member of the Hebron Church of Christ and the Hebron Masonic Lodge F & AM #757. 

Charlie was preceded in death by his parents, John and Myla Day; six siblings; and his first wife, Jeanne Day. 

Survivors include his second wife, Reba (Wood) Day; sons, Jeff (Linda) Day and Jonathan (Leslie) Day; daughter, Jennifer Day; sisters, Louise Neff and Sheila (John) Viox; brother, Kevin (Julie) Day; three grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. 

The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 2, 2026. from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, 1833 Petersburg Road, Hebron. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 3:00 pm at the funeral home.
