Charlie Merrell, 89, of Hebron, died Saturday, February 18, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Health Care, Florence.
He was born in Lancaster, Kentucky on June 16, 1922 to the late John B. and Fannie Mae Hill Merrell.
Charlie was a self-employed farmer and carpenter and a long time member of Sand Run Baptist Church, Hebron.
He is survived by sons, Charles (Rita) Merrell Jr., Randy L.(Kathey) Merrell and daughter, Cathy N. Merrell, all of Hebron, sisters, Betty L. Taylor of Burlington, Evelyn Taylor of Florence , brother, Reverend William H. Merrell of Hebron, 4 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Mr. Merrell’s wife, Patricia E. Qualls Merrell and step-son, Danny Joe Ballard preceded him in death.
