Dolores Heitzman

Dolores Heitzman passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2019 in Sun City Center, Florida after a long battle with Alzheimer’s.

She was born September 10, 1933 in Covington.  Dolores attended Notre Dame High School.  She married Richard F. Heitzman in 1952 and they were blessed with three children.  After residing in Ohio for over 50 years, they moved to Florida.  Dolores and Richard lived in Sun City Center for over 26 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Margaret (Roth) and John Koenig.

She leaves her loving husband Richard after 67 years of marriage; her three children, Michael (Linda) Heitzman of Memphis, Tennessee; Rose (Michael) Vitale of Blue Ash, Ohio; and Tim (Ginny) Heitzman of Belmont, North Carolina. brother, Robert Koenig; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.

Visitation is Monday, March 11, 2019 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at St. John Church, 627 W. Pike Street, Covington.  Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow at 10:00 a.m.  Interment in St. John Cemetery, Fort Mitchell. Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Covington is serving the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made directly to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
