Don Pierce

Don Pierce, 75, of Petersburg, formerly of Evansville, Indiana, died Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at Woodcrest Manor, Elsmere. A United States Army veteran, Don was retired after 35 years with Delta Airlines as a ramp supervisor.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Lillian Harrison Pierce; brothers, Eugene Pierce, Robert Pierce, Paul Pierce, Jack Pierce and Alfred Pierce; and sisters, Delores Kennel, Ferol Roeder, Esther Ashby, Sue Paugh and Dorothy Pierce.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Margaret Mitchell Pierce of Petersburg; son, Scott (Sandra) Pierce of Cincinnati; step grandchildren, Chris Belieu and Andrew Young; and many wonderful nieces and nephews.

Visitation is Friday, February 27, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Hebron. A second visitation is Monday, March 2, 2015 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. CST at Browning Funeral Home, Evansville, Indiana. Funeral service to immediately follow at 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment at Sunset Memorial Park, Evansville, Indiana.
