Dona Bohart

Dona J. Gustin Bohart, 90, of Florence, formerly of Hebron, passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at Florence Park Care Center. She was a retired rural letter carrier, working 22 years at the Hebron Post Office.

Dona was a member of Hebron Lutheran Church, the Boone Co. Homemakers, Eastern Star and the Hebron Volunteer Fire Dept Auxiliary. She was a past president of the NARFE No. Ky. Chpt #1643. She was a Girl Scout Leader for Troop #7, a Kentucky Colonel and a member of the No Ky Hydro-Fems. She was also a member of several square dancing groups.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, William H. “Bill” Bohart on March 7, 2011; and parents, Walter and Hellen Smith Gustin.

Surviving are children, Carol (the late Tony) Holt, Oshkosh, WI, Peggy (the late Don) Eilers, Florence, and William H. E. (Roxy) Bohart, Owenton; grandchildren, Sara (Jason) Roberts, Bridgette Bohart (Derek Howell), William M. Bohart, Elizabeth C. Holt, DVM (Justin Cartier), Andrew J. Bohart and Geoffrey A. Bohart; seven great grandchildren; four nieces; and one nephew.

Visitation is Monday, April 9 from 10 AM to 12 Noon at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Hebron, with the funeral service to follow at 12 Noon at the funeral home. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery, Southgate.
