Donald Arnold

Donald William Arnold, 92, of Florence died Tuesday afternoon, January 10, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare of Florence. He was the retired Owner of Arnold Tire Company of Erlanger and worked for many years for Goodyear Tire Company and also Goodrich Tire Company.

Mr. Arnold was a United States Army Air Corp veteran of World War II with the rank of Tech Sergeant, member of Hebron Lutheran Church, a Kentucky Colonel and enjoyed fishing in his spare time.

Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Lydia Anna Frosch Arnold of Florence; daughters, Louise Dorrell of Florence, Joanne (Jon) Bennett of Edgewood and Ann (Frank) Bell of Ludlow; a son, Jerry (Elaine) Arnold of Plano, Texas; six grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd R. and Mary Mae Arnold and a brother, Roger Arnold.

Visitation is Friday, January 13, 2012 from 11:00 a.m to 12:00 Noon at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Hebron. Funeral services to follow at 12:00 Noon. Reverend Dave Shockey officiating. Interment at Hebron Lutheran Cemetery, Hebron.
