Donald McGuire
May 28, 1931 — March 4, 2016
Donald Lewis McGuire, 84, of Petersburg died Friday, March 4, 2016 at his home.
He was a Cargo Supervisor at Delta Airlines for 31 years, a Sgt. 1st Class Army veteran, a member of the Petersburg Lions Club and an avid trap shooter.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Hannah Abdon Mc Guire; and grandchild, Terri Mc Guire.
He is survived by his loving wife Patsy Snelling McGuire of Petersburg; sons, Donald W. (Karen) McGuire of Burlington and Steven R. (Leigh) McGuire of Petersburg; daughters Sandra (McGuire) Morgan of Mt. Orab, Ohio, Deborah Elfers of Independence and Linda Sebastian of Fairfield, Ohio; 15 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at the Petersburg Baptist Church from 5:30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. with fellowship and dinner to follow at the Petersburg Community Center.
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Petersburg Baptist Church, 6537 Market St., Petersburg, KY 41080.
