Donald E. Seely, of Petersburg, passed away Monday, November 21, 2016 at his residence.

He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran in the Satellite Control Program. Don was a retired electrical engineer at Tolkientown and a member and Bible teacher at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Burlington.

His hobbies include, motorcycle racing, Bible study, building things and politics (Tea Party).

He was preceded in death by parents, Russell and Hazel Hope Seely.

Survivors include, wife, Julienne Scofield Seely; son, Denver (Jenny) Seely of Starkville, Mississippi; daughters, Ann (Tom) Lightner of Petersburg, April (Jeremy) Pryor of Fort Thomas, and Amber (Stefan) Marks of New Orleans, Louisianna; brother, Roger (Jodi) Seely of Plain City, Ohio; sister, Sonja (George) Hoffmann of Buckeye Lake, Ohio; grandchildren, Brian (Michelle) Lightner, Joseph Lightner, Annabelle Lightner, Sara Lightner, Benjamin Lightner, Hannah Lightner, Elizabeth Lightner, Joshua Lightner, Samuel Lightner, Kelsey Pryor, Jackson Pryor, Sydney Pryor, Elisa Pryor, Kaira Pryor, Jenneva Seely, Lydia Seely, Jonah Seely, Neena Seely, Priscilla Seely, Robert Seely, Rye Rendon Donald Thruxton Marks and Johanna Fabain-Marks; and great grandson, Gavin Lightner.

Visitation is Friday, November 25, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Cornerstone Baptist Church, Burlington, with the Funeral Service following at 11:00 a.m. at the church. Interment, with military honors, is Saturday, November 26, 2016 at 12:00 Noon at Wesley Chapel Cemetery, Hilliard, Ohio. Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Hebron, KY is serving the family.
