Donald "Donny" Eilers

Donald W. “Donny” Eilers, 71, of Florence passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 16, 2017. He was a retired driver for the Cincinnati Enquirer, a member of the Teamster’s Local # 100 and a TSA Agent at Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati Airport.

Don was a graduate of Bellevue High School, Class of ’64. He served his country proudly as a Sergeant with the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was a former member of the Hebron Masonic Lodge F & AM, a member of the Campbell County Game & Fish Club and in his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and golfing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Delia Walters Eilers.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy Bohart Eilers; daughters, Kimberly Anne Eilers and Sara (Jason) Roberts; brother, Gary K. Eilers; nieces, Ashley (Brian) Gratsch and Lindsey (Charles) Hendrixson; nephew, Evan Eilers; and four grandchildren.

Visitation is Friday, June 2, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon at the Hebron Lutheran Church, 3140 Limaburg Road, Hebron, Kentucky. Services to immediately follow at 12:00 Noon at the church. Inurnment, with military honors, will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North, Williamstown. Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Erlanger is serving the family.
