Doris Ortwein

Doris Ann Redmon Ortwein, 79, of Edgewood, died Thursday, July 23, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Hospice, Edgewood.

She was a retired Vice President of Provident Bank and a member of St. Pius X Church.

Survivors include daughters, Deborah Chikar of Edgewood and Teresa Schmidt of Villa Hills; and granddaughter, Andrea (Michael) Schmidt Hilgeford of Villa Hills.

She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Ortwein in 1985; parents, Rutherford and Zelma Graves Redmon; and sons in law, James Chikar and Elmer Schmidt Jr.

Visitation is Tuesday, July 28, 2015 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at St. Pius X Church Edgewood. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00 a.m. at the church. Private interment at Mother of God Cemetery, Fort Wright. Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Covington is serving the family.
