Dorothy Cartwright
June 6, 1920 — February 25, 2016
Dorothy May Kilgore Cartwright, 95, of Bromley, passed away Thursday, February 25, 2016 at Rosedale Green in Latonia.
She was a homemaker and an artist, having taught Art at Dixie Heights High School from 1944-48. She was a longtime member of the Bromley Christian Church and a former student of Lela Cooney at the Baker-Hunt Art Foundation.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Garland William Cartwright in 2011.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Shawna Cartwright of Villa Hills, KY; son, Thomas (Nancy) Cartwright of Fairfield, OH; grandson, Ross Garland Cartwright; niece, Patricia Bowling; and nephew, Daniel Ryan.
Visitation will be on Monday, February 29, 2016 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Ludlow. Service will immediately follow at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Erlanger, KY.
