Dr. Ralph O'Brien

Dr. Ralph Daniel O’Brien, 90, of Villa Hills, formerly of Hebron, passed away Sunday, April 30, 2023.

He was born May 26, 1932, in Toronto, Ohio to John and Irene (Abrams) O’Brien.

Dr. O’Brien was a retired professor of Industrial Technology at Northern Kentucky University; the longest serving Board member of NOCTI and enjoyed woodworking and taking care of his dog Jackson.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Lynne (Dodson) O’Brien in 2008; his parents; and his siblings.

Survivors include his sons, Dan (Jennifer) O’Brien and Tim (Amy) O’Brien; grandchildren, Lauren O’Brien, Kyle O’Brien, Erin O’Brien, Emily O’Brien and Natalie O’Brien; a great grandson, Calvin; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at the Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Hebron. Interment will be in the Toronto Union Cemetery, Toronto, Ohio.
