Dr. William Anthony “Bill” Recker, 77, of Cold Spring, Kentucky passed away Friday, December 16, 2022, at St. Elizabeth Healthcare, Edgewood.
Bill was loved so dearly and brought so much happiness to the many hearts he touched. He was always kind, caring and understanding towards the people he loved. He was a blessing and God's gift to everyone he came across and brought so much joy to us.
Bill was born on December 28, 1944, to Joseph and Anna (Perong) Recker in Cincinnati, Ohio. He graduated high school from Moeller High and continued his education at Eastern Kentucky University, Xavier University and University of Cincinnati, where he received his PhD. He always taught us; “That the one thing nobody can take from you, is your education.” He lived by that. He met his bride Teresa (Sepkovich) Recker and they married in Sept of 1972. He loved Cincinnati sports, the stock market and FOX News. He was a professor of labor relations for 30+ years at Northern Kentucky University.
Bill was predeceased by his parents, Anna (Perong) and Joseph Recker; and his wife, Teresa (Sepkovich) Recker.
Survivors include his children, Michael Recker, Beth Douglas and Gina Ladalski and son in law Joseph Ladalski; sister Mary Ann (Recker) Ney; brother- in-law Robert Ney; and grandchildren, Austin, Cody, Karson, Tyler, Logan, and Benjamin.
Memorial Mass of Christian Burial 8:30 am Saturday, January 7, 2023, at St. Joseph Church, Cold Spring. Inurnment to follow in St. Stephen Cemetery, Fort Thomas. Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Erlanger is serving the family.
