Earl Dolwick

Earl Carlton Dolwick, 96, of Hebron passed away Friday, November 25, 2016. He was a retired Rural Route Mail Carrier.

Earl was a longtime member of the Bullittsville Christian Church and proudly served his country during World War II in the US Army in Normandy during the Battle of the Bulge, in Northern France Ardennes, Rhineland and Central Europe. He received the EAME Theater Ribbon with 5 Bronze Stars.

A former member of the Hebron Lions Club and a member of the Boone Co. Seniors- Euchre Players, he enjoyed farming and fishing and he was a life member of the DAV.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Dora Kahr Dolwick.

Survivors include his wife, Thelma Jeanne Reinhart Dolwick of Hebron; son, Bill (Toni) Dolwick of Florence; daughter, Sylvia (Mack) Bowling of Hebron; grandsons, Troy (Stephanie) Dolwick, Brad (Kelly) Dolwick, Steve (Erin) Bowling, Mark (Danae) Bowling and John (Marsha) Bowling; and 10 great grandchildren.

Visitation is Tuesday, November 29, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Bullittsville Christian Church, 3094 Petersburg Road, Burlington, KY 41005. Funeral services to immediately follow at 1:00 p.m. at the church. Interment, with military honors, at Hebron Lutheran Cemetery, Hebron. Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Hebron is serving the family.
