Edith Obeng

Edith Obeng, 53, of Florence, Kentucky, formerly of Obuasi, Ghana, died on the evening of Friday, October 10, 2025, while on her way to work. 

Edith was born on August 30, 1972, in Obuasi, Ghana to the late Kinsngney and Georgina (Ennin) Obeng. She was a stock associate for Walmart, Florence and a member of St. Paul Church, Florence. 

She is survived by her husband, Clement Essilfie; daughter, Frede Essilfie; son, Joseph Essilfie; sisters, Irene Pokua and Yee Densowaah; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. 

Mass of Christian Burial is 11:00 am, Saturday, November 15, 2025, at St. Paul Church, 7301 Dixie Highway, Florence, KY 41042. Edith will be laid to rest in her hometown of Obuasi, Ghana in Kwabenakwah Cemetery. Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Erlanger, KY is serving the family.
