Effort Newsome
March 27, 1937 — July 25, 2009
Effort Newsome, 72, of Florence, died Saturday, July 25, at Florence Park Care Center, Florence. He was a retired Warehouse Worker with Atlas Van Lines of Cincinnati.
Mr. Newsome attended Kento-Boo Baptist Church of Florence.
Survivors include wife, Sylvia Jane Cecil Newsome; sons, Christopher M. Newsome of Burlington and William P. Hahn of Utica, Ohio; daughter, Connie J. Parrott of Burlington; brothers, Fred Newsome of Columbus, Ohio and Doug Newsome of Westerville, Ohio; sisters, Avalean Martin of Winchester, Kentucky, Shirley Wallace of Shilo, Ohio, Marylou King of Westerville, Ohio, and Jill Mosley of Ligon, Kentucky; and granchildren, Trevor, Morgan, and Braylon.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Ralph Newsome and Jackie Newsome; and parents, Lark and Draxie Bentley Newsome.
