Frankie LaPratt Nocero Martin, 76, of Independence, died Saturday, February 9, 2012 at her home. She was a retired hostess with Denny’s Restaurants.
A former Alabama beauty queen, she enjoyed horse racing, the casinos, traveling, and crocheting. An animal lover, she enjoyed watching hummingbirds. She was also a fan of Elizabeth Taylor and loved to watch old movies.
Survivors include sons, Rinzy (Kim) Nocero, Grove City, Ohio and Giovanni (Denise) Nocero, Independence, Kentucky; daughters, Julia Pearson, Elsmere, Kentucky and Angela Nocero, Erlanger, Kentucky; 15 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Mario Nocero in 1998.
A Memorial Service is planned for a later date. Family and friends will be notified.
