Galen McGlasson

Galen McGlasson, 89, of Hebron, passed away Monday, March 15, 2021 at his residence.

Galen owned Lakeview Farm in Hebron, served as a former magistrate and county commissioner for Boone County, owned and trained Thoroughbred horses and served as a referee for high school football and basketball. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, raising horses and mowing.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Margie Masters McGlasson; son, Mike McGlasson; parents, LeRoy and Rheba Walton McGlasson; and brother, Melvin McGlasson.

Survivors include sons, Larry (Maggie) McGlasson and Gayle (Sophie) McGlasson; and grandchildren, Michael McGlasson, Molly (Ryan) Whitaker, Taylor McGlasson and Luke McGlasson.

Services are private and at the convenience of the family. Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Hebron is serving the family.
