Geraldine M. “Jeri” (Rubenbauer) Wege, 87, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, August 31, 2026, surrounded by family.
A 1957 graduate of Regina High School in Norwood, Ohio, Jeri began her career as a secretary at R.K. LeBlond Machine Tool Co, Cincinnati, where she met her future husband, Fred Wege. They married in 1964 and built a partnership that spanned 62 years.
Jeri dedicated herself to raising her family and supporting them in their many activities. When her children were grown, she returned to work as a secretary with Boone County Parks, a position she thoroughly enjoyed. She retired after ten years of service.
A faithful member of Hebron Lutheran Church, Jeri served on various church committees and maintained long lasting friendships, most notably with the “ski group”.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Stevens and Edna M. (Lehan) Rubenbauer; and her beloved granddaughter, Morgan Wege.
Jeri is survived by her husband, Fred W. Wege; her children, Fred Jeffrey (Tiffany) Wege, John Todd (Jennifer) Wege, and Lori (Ted) Reese; her grandchildren, Finley Wege, Jordan Wege, Michael Hawes, Blayne Day, Sydney (Glenn) Wallace, Fr. Ephrem M. Reese, and Meredith Reese (Philip Heaver); and her great-grandchildren, Jonathan, Annie, Cooper, and Penny. She is also survived by her brother, Jack Rubenbauer; her nieces and nephew, Sara Rubenbauer, Melanie (Mike) Ulhrich, and Drew Rubenbauer; and great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Friday, September 4, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 Noon at the Hebron Lutheran Church, 3140 Limaburg Road, Hebron, Kentucky. Services to immediate follow at 12:00 Noon. Interment will be in Hebron Lutheran Cemetery, Hebron. The family is being served by Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Hebron.

The family extends its heartfelt gratitude to Jeri's caregiver, Barb Thomas, whose compassion, friendship, and care brought comfort and support to Jeri and her family.
