Gertrude "Trudy" Stringer

Gertrude “Trudy” Humphrey Stringer, 83, of Hebron passed away Saturday morning, June 9, 2018. She retired as a Nurse’s Assistant for St. Elizabeth South, Edgewood in 1999.

Trudy was a longtime member of First Baptist Church, Ludlow. She loved politics, football and the Minnesota Vikings.

She was preceded in death by a son, William Stringer in 2012; her parents, Harry M. and Sadie Morehead Humphrey; and siblings, Manny Goodridge, Marian Fay Champlin, Lavinia “Dee Dee” Beacom, William Humphrey and Harry Humphrey.

Survivors include her son, Tim (Polly) Stringer of Hebron; daughter, Nancy (the late John) Goddard of Lordstown, Ohio; sister, Judith L. “Judy” Humphrey of Hebron; grandsons, Zach Stringer and Vince Goddard; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation is Friday, June 15, 2018 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 Noon at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Hebron. Funeral services to immediately follow at 12:00 Noon at the funeral home. Interment at Sand Run Cemetery, Hebron.
