Gliceria Odoy

Gliceria Estanislao Odoy, 87, of Edgewood passed away Sunday evening, April 17, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare, Edgewood. She was a retired Medical Technician for the Veterans Administration Medical Center, Cincinnati.

Prior to coming to the United States, she was a Pharmacist in the Philippines for many years. She was a longtime member of St. Pius X Church, Edgewood.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Dr. Loreto K. Odoy on September 15, 1970; parents, Arcadio and Feliza Payumo Estanislao; five sisters; and a brother.

Survivors include daughters, Sheila (Patrick) Cahill of Edgewood, Olivia (David) Smith of Tokyo, Japan and Louella (Rolando) Brual of Carmel, Indiana; son, Larry (Sheila) Odoy of Fayetteville, North Carolina; sisters, Iraida Tulod of California, Fely Lagman of Los Angeles, California, Dr. Avelina Laxa of San Antonio, Texas and Norma Simsuangco of Glendale, California; and 10 grandchildren.

Visitation is Friday, April 22, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Erlanger. Mass of Christian Burial is Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Pius X Church, Edgewood. Entombment in St. Mary Cemetery Mausoleum, Fort Mitchell.
