Gordon Powell
May 29, 1942 — July 13, 2011
Sydney Gordon Powell, 69, of Fairfield, Ohio and formerly of Ludlow, Kentucky died Wednesday afternoon at his residence.
He was a retired car salesman for Busam Nissan and Mile Albert's Auto Group, he most recently was a host at Pearl's Diner, Fairfield, Ohio. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and he enjoyed fishing, reading, history, music and dancing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gordon Russell Powell and Evelyn Ruth Connett Goodpaster.
Survivors include his wife, Judith Ann Chandler Powell of Ludlow, Kentucky; two daughters, Patricia (Charles Lewis) Powell of Louisville, Kentucky and Kelly (Carolee Kamlager) Powell of Cincinnati, Ohio; two sons, Gordon Adam Powell and Christopher Powell both of Ludlow, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Amber Nicole Powell, Chandler Adam Powell and Zachary Charles Lewis.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 23rd, 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm at Pearl's Diner, 4696 Dixie Highway, Fairfield, Ohio.
