Howard Edward Delph, 78, of Petersburg passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at University Hospital, Cincinnati.
Howard retired from Delta Airlines after 34 years of service as a Customer Service Agent. He was a longtime member of Woodhaven Baptist Church, Burlington and served for many years on the Petersburg Cemetery Board. He and Jackie enjoyed traveling together. An avid UK basketball fan, Howard also enjoyed working in his garden.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Lallie Marie Gray Delph.
Survivors include his wife, Jackie Lynn Walston Delph; sons, Michael Lewis (Mary) Delph of Verona and Chaz Thomas (Kellie) Burke of Petersburg; daughter, Bobbie Renee (Casey) Napier of Carroll County, Kentucky; brother, David (Rhonda) Delph of Hendersonville, Tennessee.; sisters, Frances (Donald) Blackburn of Petersburg and Janet (Butch) Brunner of Burlington; grandchildren, Brandon, Adam, Leslie, Jordan, Cillian, Kennedy and Ciaran; and great grandchildren, Carter, Quinnton and Reagan and one on the way.
Visitation is Sunday, March 19, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Hebron. Funeral services to immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment at Petersburg Cemetery, Petersburg.
