Ilene Scudder

Ilene Craddock Scudder, 93, of Burlington passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family. A homemaker and longtime member of Sand Run Baptist Church, Hebron, she enjoyed dancing and bowling.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Irvin T. Scudder in 1996; son, Robert Scudder; her parents, Thomas and Daisy Craddock and siblings, Orville Craddock, Faye Hensley, Norman Craddock, Violet Judd, Roxie Turner, Jim Craddock, Gayle Craddock and Billy Craddock.

Survivors include her daughter, Cheryl (Jerry) Taylor of Burlington; son, Daryl Scudder of Burlington; three grandchildren, Michelle Burns (John), Leigh Ann Fender (Geoff) and Matthew Scudder; and seven great grandchildren, Danny Rockey, Allison Rockey, Hunter Burns, Rhianna Hurt, Katie Hurt, Rhyleigh Scudder and Raelynn Scudder; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation is Sunday, September 30, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Hebron. Funeral services are Monday, October 1, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment at Petersburg Cemetery, Petersburg.
