Jack Murphy

John "Jack" Joseph Murphy, 77, of Elsmere, died Friday, November 26, 2010 at St. Elizabath Healthcare, Edgewood. He was a retired printer.

Mr. Murphy was a member of St. Henry Church of Elsmere. He enjoyed hunting.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Sanning Murphy; daughters, Kathleen (Terry) McClanahan of Erlanger, Karen (the late Tony) Jansen of Fort Thomas, and Marcie (James) McMillon of Erlanger; sons, Tim (Letty) Murphy of Alexandria, Terry (Deirdre) Murphy of Union, John Todd (Kathy) Murphy of Edgewood, and Joseph R. Murphy and Martin Murphy, both of Elsmere; sisters, Ann (Tom) Ernst of Fort Wright and Judy (Jerry) Bergfeld of Burlington; brother, Maurice Murphy of Park Hills; sister in law, Karen Murphy of Park Hills; grandchildren, Matthew, Mark, Michael, Melissa, Tony, Elijah, Jaydon, Mariah, Sydney, Alisha, Tom, Nathaniel, Meredith, Lydia, Matthew, and Tara; great grandchildren, Anna Lee, Ava Lynn, Jared, Parker, and Beckett; and canine companions, Mugsy and Leroy.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Mora Rose Hoober; brother, Mike Murphy; parents, John "Pops" and Olivia Wermeling Murphy; and canine companion, Tyson.
