James Koors, Sr.

James J. Koors Sr., 91, of Edgewood, passed away Tuesday November 2, 2021, at his residence.

He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church and was a U.S. Army Korean War veteran. James was the Proprietor of Koors Supply Company in Elsmere and a charter member of Msgr. Ahmann Knights of Columbus.

James was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Koors; and parents, Robert Wesley and Lillian R. (Wood) Koors.

Survivors include his loving wife, Mary Jean (Huesing) Koors; sons, James Koors Jr., Gregory (Sandy) Koors and Michael (Julie) Koors; daughters, Jenna (Paul) Holzderber and Victoria Koors; eleven grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 12:00 Noon Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Blessed Sacrament Church. Visitation begins at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the church. Interment in St. John Cemetery, Fort Mitchell.

Memorials are suggested to the charity of choice.
