James Tanner

James G. Tanner, 86, of Hebron, passed away Monday December 10, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare, Florence. He was a member of Hebron Lutheran Church and a Korean War Army Veteran.

James was a retired farrier at River Down’s and Latonia Race Track and a weight trainer for the Conner High School football team.

He was preceded in death by parents, James and Duley Easton Tanner; and brother, Eddie Tanner.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Jeanette Conner Tanner; son, Andrew (Debra) Tanner; and sister, Sharon Scudder.

Visitation is Friday, December 14, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon at Hebron Lutheran Church with a funeral service beginning at 12:00 Noon at the church. Interment at Hebron Lutheran Cemetery. There will be a luncheon downstairs at the church following the interment. Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Hebron is serving the family.
