Joan Stewart

Joan Lee Mains Stewart, 74, of Edgewood, died Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Health Care, Florence.

She was born on November 12, 1938 in Marietta, OH to the late Fred W. and Mildred K. Reigel Mains.

Joan graduated from Marietta High School and the Jewish Hospital School of Nursing. She worked for many years as a R.N. in the labor and delivery department of Jewish Hospital and then St. Elizabeth Healthcare where she retired in 1991.

Joan is survived by her husband of 55 years, Jerry Stewart, son, Scott Frederick (Amy) Stewart of Edgewood, daughters, Diana Beth (Manfred) Ott of Edgewood, Nancy Layne Stewart Ott of Lakeside Park, sister, Marilyn K. (Keith) Brum of Marietta, OH, son-in-law, Rudi Ott of Cold Spring, grandchildren, Daniel, Ryan, Stacie, Rachel, numerous nieces and nephews and long time friend, Hester Sensel of Cincinnati.
