John Cullen “Jack” Blackwell, Sr., 77, of Hebron, died Saturday, April 25, 2015 at his residence.
He was born in Chicago, IL on June 22, 1937 to the late Claude F. and Lucille Baker Blackwell.
John began his sales career with the Drackett Corporation, moving up to regional manager and then becoming president of the Oster Corporation. He was a US Air Force veteran and member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Burlington.
Surviving is his wife of 54 years, Mary Jo Barrett Blackwell, sons, John C. (Michelle) Blackwell, Jr. of Rising Sun, IN, Chris M. (Wendy) Blackwell of Lake Villa, IL, sister-in-law, Helen M. Barrett of Stuart, FL, brother-in-law, Joseph A. Barrett of Stuart, FL and grandchildren, Carson, Claire, Spencer and Camden.
