John J. Borchers, 86, of Madisonville, OH died Thursday at his residence.
He was a U. S. Navy veteran, a retired paymaster with B & O Railroad and a member of St. Anthony Church in Madisonville.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jo Pettit Borchers; son, John Borchers Jr; daughter, Connie Borchers, brothers, Albert, William, Robert, Edward, Gilbert and Clifford Borchers.
Survivors include long time companion, Juanita Pape; sons, Ricky (Sue) Borchers of Petersburg, Michael (Karen) Borchers of Anderson Township, OH, Martin (Cathy) Borchers of New Richmond, OH, daughter, Cathie Borchers of Madisonville, 17 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, and brother, Vernon Borchers of Ventura, CA.
