John H. Edmiston, Jr., 87, of Villa Hills, died suddenly September 25, 2010 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Edgewood.
He was a former accountant for Procter & Gamble, a United States World War II Army veteran, a member of Lakeside Presbyterian Church where he served as Deacon, Elder and Trustee, a Trustee of Presbytery of Cincinnati, a member and past president of Fort Mitchell Country Club, a Trustee of Covington Ladies Home, and past president of the Children’s Home of Northern Kentucky. He is also an Alumni of Indiana University.
Survivors include his wife, Anne Hawes Edmiston; son, John “Jack” Edmiston III, of Newark, Delaware; daughter, Nancy Quinn of Park Hills; sisters, Jean Thursby of Elkhart, Indiana and Margaret Stanton of Pinehurst, North Carolina; six grandchildren, Brian, Eric and Katie Quinn, and Jay, Kristen, and Lauren Edmiston.
He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Rachel Ann Edmiston; and parents, John H., Sr. and Gertrude Kraus Edmiston.
