John Mallicoat

John Henry Mallicoat, 82, of Cincinnati, formerly of Northern Kentucky, died Monday January 29, 2018 at Riverview Nursing Home in Cincinnati.

John was a retired self-employed bricklayer for Henry Fischer Homes and Drees Builders. He was a member of the Free Christian Church of God in Hamilton, Ohio. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

He was preceded in death by parents, Boyd Powell and Liza Mallicoat; and grandson, John Thomas Mallicoat.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Mary Lou Griffin Mallicoat; son, John Michael Mallicoat of Cincinnati; half-sister, Anna Harris of Burlington; half-brother, Danny (Betty) Turner of Burlington; and grandson, Troy Michael Mallicoat of Cincinnati.

Visitation is Thursday, February 1, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. to1:00 p.m. at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Covington with the funeral service beginning at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment at Big Bone Cemetery, Union, Kentucky.
