John Merrell

John Brack Merrell, 79, of Covington, died Friday, February 11, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood. He was a truck driver with Duro Bag Company.
Mr. Merrell was a United States Army Veteran, having served during the Korean War.
Survivors include his son, Doug (Ronda) Merrell of Independence; brothers, Reverend Bill (Juanita) Merrell of Burlington and Charles Merrell of Hebron; sisters, Evelyn Taylor of Hebron, Betty Taylor of Hebron, and Jane Lainhart of Fort Belvoir, Virginia; four grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Etta Mae Eades Merrell in 2006; son, Charles Eades in 1999; and parents, John Brack and Fannie Hill Merrell.
