Lela M. Eggleston Sams, 83, of Burlington, Kentucky, formerly of Florence, Kentucky died Saturday, September 10, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Health Care Hospice, Edgewood.
She was a retired waitress for Florence Christian Center.
Lela is survived by sons, Raymond “Jerry” (Brenda) Burns of Florence, Kentucky, Richard “Rick” (Shauna) Burns of Hebron, Kentucky, James Robert (Tina) Fields of Florence, Kentucky, grandchildren, Vince Burns, Wes (Mandy) Burns, Jason (Lauren) Ruprecht, Jamie (Randy) Dick, Austin Fields, Jordan Fields, Matthew Fields, Robert Rayborn, Rodney Rayborn, Christy Rayborn and 17 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Sams was preceded in death by her husbands, Richard Burns, Robert Fields, Andrew Sams, daughter Linda Rayborn and her parents, William and Hazel McGlasson Eggleston.
