Leslie Berg
June 17, 1921 — November 1, 2010
Leslie T. Berg, 89, of Fort Mitchell, died Monday morning, November 1, 2010 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare of Edgewood. He was a retired Air Traffic Controller for the Federal Aviation Administration.
Mr. Berg was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church and a United States World War II Army Veteran, having served as a pilot. His hobbies included woodworking and furniture building.
Survivors include his wife, Lorine McComis Berg; son, James M. Berg of Covington; son in law, George Yates Jr. of West Jefferson, North Carolina; sister, Dr. Mary Schmitz of Madison, Wisconsin; grandchildren, Michael Yates and Shannon Yates; great grandchildren, Madison and Kaitlyn.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Leslie Yates died in 2000; and parents, Leslie T., Sr. and Anna Woods Berg.
