Luis Alberto Hernandez Mendez, 41, of Hebron, Kentucky passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at St. Elizabeth Healthcare, Florence, Kentucky. Luis was born on February 12, 1985, in Puerto La Cruz, Venezuela to Ysvel Mendez and the late Luis A. Hernandez Rondon. Luis worked for several years at Amazon and was most currently an Uber Driver. Survivors include his wife, Jeorgina Somoza; sons, Luis A. Hernandez Somoza and Luis W. Hernandez Somoza; mother, Ysvel Mendez; and a sister, Maria Hernandez. Services are private and at the convenience of the family. Luis will be laid to rest in his native Venezuela. Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Hebron, Kentucky is serving the family.
