Margaret Ann Bird Carl, 88, of Fort Mitchell passed away Monday, October 31, 2016 at her residence. Her daughter, Nancy C. Pennington, passed away that same morning at her mother’s home.
Also preceding Margaret in death was her husband, Harry Carl, Jr.; her parents, Robert and Marguerite Rand Bird; and two sisters, Nancy Wilkerson and Mary Wildeman.
She was a longtime member of the Erlanger Christian Church, Fort Mitchell Country Club, member and Past President of the Junior Board and a Colonial Dame.
Survivors include her son, Bob (Janet) Carl of Union; daughter, Margaret A. (Ed) Giniat; son-in-law, David Pennington of Covington; sister, Sue McHugh of Erlanger; five grandchildren, Josh Carl, Alexandra Carl, Matthew Giniat, Andrew Giniat and Oliver Pennington; and two great grandchildren, Aria Pennington and Quinn Pennington.
Memorial Service is Thursday, November 10, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Erlanger Christian Church. Reverend Charlie Martin officiating. Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Covington is serving the family. Interment will be in Highland Cemetery, Fort Mitchell.
