Marie Finan Knipfer, 88, of Florence, died Sunday, January 10, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Hospice, Edgewood. She worked in the Trust Department and retired after 38 years of service with Provident Bank.
Marie was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church and was active in their Senior Group and Bowling Team. She enjoyed ceramics, bowling, sewing and cooking.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Edward Knipfer in 1997; daughter, Connie Ann Finke; sister, Jean Plybon; brother, Donald Finan; and parents, Earl and Helen Cassidy Finan.
Survivors include sons, Chuck (Lorraine) Knipfer of Hebron, David Knipfer of Florence, and Rob (Peggy) Knipfer of Union; daughters, Lois Moore of Walton and Patti (Ken) Rasor of Union; grandchildren, Chrissy Robinson of Hebron, Wayne Moore of Elsmere, Sherri Frank of Petersburg, Tommy Finke of Hebron, Jennifer Koching of Florence, Jessica Scheper of Erlanger, Stacie Rasor of Erlanger, and Justin Rasor of Burlington; 13 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
Visitation is Wednesday, January 13, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Hebron. Mass of Christian Burial is Thursday, January 14, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Burlington. Interment at St. Mary Cemetery, Fort Mitchell.
