Mary Knock

Mary Susan Knock, age 56, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 24, 2021, at her home in Melbourne, Florida. She was born on September 6, 1965 in Fort Thomas, Kentucky.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Janet (Rehg) Gillingham and Richard Knock.

Mary graduated from Cocoa Beach High School in 1983. Mary started her career in the transportation industry until she found that her passion was landscape design and gardening.  She loved creating majestic gardens and we will miss her extensive knowledge on that subject.  We will also miss her creative writing and poems and her love of a spirited discussion on the world's topics.

Mary was still young but loved the old episodes of comedy series, the Gaither Gospel Hour and the Lawrence Welk show.  She was a free spirit who enjoyed having fun at family and friend’s gatherings.  Due to poor health, she was taken away from us far too soon.

Mary is survived by her second mother, Jo Ann Knock; brother, Philip David Knock (Bonnie Lou); sisters, Janlyn Myers (Denny), Bonnie Ann Knock, Sherri Brooks (Jeff) and Darlene Kelley.  She is also survived by loving Aunts, Nephews and Nieces.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 4, 2021, at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, 1833 Petersburg Road, Hebron, Kentucky 41048. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Highland Cemetery, Fort Mitchell, Kentucky.
