Melvin Ray McGlasson, 79, of Hebron, died Thursday, October 30 at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood. He was an owner of Lakeview Farms of Hebron.

He was a member of Hebron Gospel Fellowship Church in Hebron.

Surviving is his wife, Jean Bloemer McGlasson; son, Danny McGlasson of Florence; daughter, Donna Pickett of Hebron; brother, Galen (Margie) McGlasson of Hebron; five grandchildren, Melea Boelter, Amanda Frazier, Jamie McGlasson, B.T. Pickett and Blake McGlasson; seven great grandchildren, Rian-Ashlee Boelter, Jacob Boelter, Jayden Boelter, Lexington Frazier, Londyn Frazier, Laurel Frazier and Jackson McGlasson; and nephews, Larry and Gayle McGlasson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, LeRoy and Rheba Walton McGlasson.
